Danna Tamayo, DDS

Dr. Danna Tamayo is a compassionate and dedicated dentist who strives to provide gentle, high-quality care to every patient she serves. She earned her B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with a full-ride scholarship from the National Health Service Corps. In recognition of her academic excellence and leadership, she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in 2019.

Dr. Tamayo spent over four years providing comprehensive care at a rural health center in Tulare, CA. This experience strengthened her passion for service and her commitment to making quality dental care accessible to all.

She brings that same dedication at SmileWell, where she emphasizes patient-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment. Dr. Tamayo is committed to lifelong learning and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry, ensuring her patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments available.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tamayo enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her family and loved ones.
